The Diocesan Planning Commission met from June 14, 2016 to June 16, 2016, during which time the Cohort Suggestion Forms received from the 25 individual groups were reviewed. As we have previously communicated, the St. Catherine’s Parish Core Team recommended a Collaborative Model amongst the members of Cohort 11.

The Diocese has published the preliminary recommendations for each Cohort. The Cohort 11 Recommendation is included in this week’s bulletin. You can also review all 25 Preliminary Recommendations by visiting the diocesan website at: http://www.dioceseoftrenton.org/faithinourfuture/.

Please note that these are only recommendations, and the final decisions will be made later this year by Bishop O’Connell, after review of the individual Cohort and Diocesan Planning Commission’s work.

The next step in the process involves members of the Cohort responding to the commission's recommendations. We will be meeting with our Cohort on a regular basis from now until October 1, 2016, when our response is due to the diocese.
