Parents Corner - Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer to Help:

• Do you love your Catholic faith? Do you enjoy working with children? Can you dedicate a few hours a week to their faith formation? If so, please prayerfully consider one of the following:

1. Catechist: Catechists teach and witness the Catholic faith during class sessions. All our catechists are supported with resources and training.
2. Catechist Aide: Assist the Catechist during the class session with attendance, class activities, and prayers.
3. Substitute Catechist: Volunteers willing to be called on an as-needed basis to teach the faith.
4. Hall Monitor: Adults who support the program by monitoring the halls, doors, and parking lot.
5. Program Volunteers: Serving in any non-teaching capacity. i.e., office help, arts & crafts assistance, program events and service projects.

Volunteers must be fingerprinted and attend a Virtus workshop as part of the Diocese of Trenton Safe Environment Program.  This is a requirement for any adult - clergy, staff, and volunteers - working with children within a Catholic parish or school, including but not limited to Religious Education programs, CYO, etc.
