View the full schedule of churches this torch will visit. The purpose of these torches is to encourage devotion and prayers to Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patroness of the Americas. On the morning of Sunday, November 25, our parish will be receiving the torch and presenting it to the parish community at the 11:30 am Mass. The Diocese will be bringing costumed dancers to St. Catherine’s as part of the ceremony of receiving the torch and adding our banner to it so be sure to get to mass early that day. The torch will remain in the parish until Saturday, December 1 when our Knights of Columbus members will continue its travels to St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton, for a special mass with our Bishop, David O’Connell at 12 noon. During the time the torch is in the parish, all are welcome to attend devotions and prayer services with the torch. A basket will be provided for the collection of petitions.
