Due to the pandemic, we will not host our annual Giving Tree Collection of Gifts in the traditional way of gift tags this year as we want everyone to be safe and healthy this Christmas season. Even though COVID-19 restrictions will modify our methods, the goal remains the same: to send Christmas cheer to help local children and seniors in need. Link to Project JOY Flyer

 

Many of our community schools and local organizations we support are not accepting physical gifts such as toys and clothing, etc. Rather, they are asking for gift cards in small denominations. Although it is not as fun as shopping for new toys, clothes, and other items, we are asking for assistance with donations of gift cards to popular stores such as Target or Walmart to name a few.  Financial donations can also be given by check, payable to the parish Good Samaritan Ministry, which aids in helping the less fortunate, or by visiting our website, www.sienachurch.org for the direct link to donate. Direct Link for Financial Donations via WeShare The Good Samaritan Ministry will use the funds collected to directly purchase the gift cards.

 

Please label all donations/gift cards CHRISTMAS PROJECT JOY. All donations can be returned to the Parish Office or Church Narthex Collection bin no later than December 5th. We thank you for your generosity and support.
