The Weekend of February 14/15 was the start of the 2015 Annual Catholic Appeal with a short video at all of the Masses. Information pamphlets and pledge cards were in the pews to make it easy to indicate support for this annual campaign.

The goal for 2015 for St Catherine's Parish is $44,000, the same amount as the 2014 Annual Catholic Appeal. As in past years, if St Catherine's meets this 2015 goal, we will receive a 15% rebate of our goal. If we do not meet our goal, we will not get anything back! In addition, for any donations above our goal, we will receive 50% of these funds.

Dear Parishioners,

As your Pastor, I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude for your excellent support of the 2014 Diocesan Annual Catholic Appeal. We were successful in responding to the responsibility of putting our faith into action, being mindful not only of our own parish community but of the bigger community as well to which we belong. A special word of thanks to Donna Lee who is our Coordinator for the project. Her dedication and hard work makes a big difference for she put in a lot of time and effort to make it a success. Thanks very much Donna.

This weekend we are going to hear from Father Al and myself speaking at all the Masses as we kick off the 2015 Annual Catholic Appeal. Let’s listen and be prayerful as we participate and ask for your active participation on this endeavor. We are asking for more donors and contributors in order to respond to the Diocese’s financial help. We ask for your prayers also as we would like to reach our goal of $44,000 this year or exceed our goal so that our parish would get some share from the appeal.
